A death investigation is underway in Huntsville after police say they found a man's body just before 6 a.m. Thursday.
The body was found at an apartment complex on McVay Street, off Drake Avenue SW. The road was closed for several hours Thursday morning but has since been reopened.Â
Madison County Coroner Dr. Tyler Berryhill said an autopsy has been ordered on the man, who was found dead at the scene due to a fatal gunshot wound.
Huntsville Police are investigating.
