Authorities arrested a man on several drug-related charges in Lawrence County on Wednesday.
According to the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office, agents with the VICE/Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant on a residential property in the Five-Points community.
Agents say they found a vast quantity of meth, cocaine, marijuana, Xanax, Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, drug-related paraphernalia, and drug manufacturing components, along with explosive components.
Authorities arrested Cathel Monroe Westmoreland. He was taken to the Lawrence County Jail. Westmoreland was charged with trafficking methamphetamines, possessions of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and manufacturing Methamphetamine.
Authorities say more charges could come at a later date.
