Two were injured following a two-vehicle crash Monday, according to Chris Waldrep with the Lawrence County Emergency Management Agency.
The two-vehicle crash occurred about 8:10 a.m. and is causing road blockage in Lawrence County, ALEA says.Â
Waldrep says the wreck involved a tanker truck with diesel.Â
Waldrep says the driver of the tanker truck and a driver of a pickup were airlifted to the hospital.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, all lanes on Alabama 157 near Alabama 36, in Lawrence County are currently closed and will be for an undetermined amount of time.

Troopers with the ALEA Highway Patrol Division say they continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates accordingly.
