Halloween forecast

Mostly sunny skies will remain overhead throughout the day with a high temperature in the middle 50s. Winds will be breezy for the rest of the afternoon with gusts as high as 30 mph.

As the sun sets this evening, temperatures will drop quickly into the 40s with wind chills in the lower 30s, so make sure the trick-or-treaters have warm clothes over the costumes.

Wednesday brings sunny skies with morning lows in the 20s so this will be our coldest morning so far this season. High temperatures will only make it into the lower to middle 50s on Wednesday. Thursday will bring another morning starting in the upper 20s, rising to the low 60s with sunny skies by afternoon. Friday will finally bring above-freezing temperatures, starting the day in the mid-30s and rising to the upper 60s for the high temperature of the day.

This weekend will be more mild with highs in the low 70s.

TODAY: Mostly sunny and chilly. Highs in the mid-50s. Wind: N 15-20 MPH.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy. Breezy. Lows in the upper 20s. Wind: N 10-15 MPH.
