Huntsville Police: 2 found with fentanyl, meth, more after SWAT assists with search

Two people were arrested on multiple drug-related charges Monday after SWAT assisted with a search at a residence in Huntsville.

According to the Huntsville Police Department, both the North Alabama Drug Task Force and SWAT executed a search warrant in the 2000 block of Reaches Place.

As a result of the search, police say 55-year-old Shawn Douglas Blackman was charged with trafficking fentanyl and trafficking methamphetamine. Jail records show his bonds total $1,600,000.

While the search was being conducted, 24-year-old Destiny Desaray Skipworth was also at the location and was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl, and possession of synthetic(s). Jail records show her bonds totaled $7,500, and she was released Tuesday.
