Huntsville Police identify victim, seek help finding suspect in Monday murder

The Huntsville Police Department needs help finding a man wanted for murder in connection with a Monday shooting.

Police have obtained a capital murder warrant for Travis Santell Blackburn, 42, in connection to a death investigation on Fairview Farm Way. Police responded to the area about 2 a.m. Monday for a shooting call.

Jacobley Moore, 31, died from his injuries. Police said this is believed to be an isolated incident.

Blackburn is known to drive a 2002 dark green Cadillac Escalade with Alabama plate 47AT5C4.

Anyone who sees the vehicle should not approach it but call Huntsville Police Dispatch at 256-722-7100.

Anyone with information on Blackburn's whereabouts is asked to call Investigator Putman at 256-427-5466.
