Alabama State Troopers say a Crossville teen was killed in a single-vehicle wreck in DeKalb County.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. Thursday in the area of Alabama 78 near DeKalb County 192 just two miles west of Collinsville.
Troopers say an 18-year-old was killed when the 2008 Mitsubishi Galant the teen was a passenger in left the roadway, struck a guardrail, and multiple trees.
The teen was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and another passenger were transported to TC Thompson Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, for treatment. Authorities say a 1-year-old was also hurt in the wreck and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Alabama State Troopers say they're continuing to investigate the wreck.
