A fourth student has been taken into custody for allegedly making a threat against a school in Limestone County.Â
According to the Limestone County Sheriff's Office, the threat was made on Snapchat and was directed to students at Clements High School.Â
While investigators worked to locate the suspect, the sheriff's office say a guardian called to report that the juvenile had confessed and wanted to speak with investigators. That student was taken into custody just before 5:30 p.m. Thursday.Â
Investigators say they found probable cause to arrest the juvenile for making a terrorist threat in the second degree.
“Thank you to those of you who reported this threat to us," said Sheriff Joshua McLaughlin. "We will continue to arrest these offenders until each is held accountable for their crimes. If you threaten our children in Limestone County, we will find you, arrest you, and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law.â€
