Huntsville police identified two women shot to death on Bonnell Drive.
D'Asia Morris and Sequoiya Lamar were found shot to death late Tuesday morning.
One resident of Bonnell Drive who would like to remain anonymous was awoken Tuesday morning by the sounds of gunfire.
“I heard like seven or eight shots go off, so I just hovered over my son. It was so close. I’ve never heard shots that close to us,†she said.Â
The woman says she fears for the safety of families and children.
“It’s just sad, I don't feel safe. I can’t even fix my baby a bottle in the kitchen because I am scared a bullet is gonna come through the window,†she explained.Â
Huntsville Police are still working to find the killer.
So far, no word on a suspect description from police.
