According to Huntsville Fire Marshal Dan Wilkerson, a woman was killed after a fire at a home on Catskill Circle in South Huntsville.
Madison County Coroner Tyler Berryhill said the victim, whose name has not yet been released by authories, died of smoke inhalation.
The fire happened about 7 a.m. Tuesday. Huntsville Police said it is believed the fire was accidental.
The investigation is ongoing.
