Marshall County man thrown from motorcycle, dies in two-vehicle wreck

A Horton man has died following a two-vehicle wreck that occurred about 5:24 p.m. Friday, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Nickey S. Borden, 49, was fatally injured when the 2011 Harley-Davidson motorcycle he was operating struck the rear of a 1996 Ford F-250.

ALEA says Borden was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Blount County 57 near Blount County 26, approximately seven miles north of Oneonta, in Blount County.
