Shannon Renee Karr
A Lawrence County judge has ordered a woman charged in the murder of her 7-year-old son to undergo a mental evaluation.Â
Court documents show the order was made Monday for Shannon Karr to receive an examination on an out-patient basis at a designated facility.Â
Karr was indicted on a capital murder charge back in March.
She was arrested in August after her son, Malachi, was shot and killed.
Her arraignment is set for April 23.Â
