On Monday, Slaughter Road will be closed between Yancy Road and Roy Drive to allow for the replacement of the bridge in that location, according to the city of Madison.Â
The city says the closure is expected to begin at 9 a.m. Monday and continue through 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15.
Traffic control and detour signage will be in place to direct traffic around the work area, the city says. However, motorists are highly encouraged to take alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
If you are unable to avoid the area, the city says to obey all traffic control devices and be aware of construction workers.
