The Albertville Police Department says they are currently investigating a shooting that occurred Monday about 9:45 p.m.
Police say the shooting took place at a local apartment complex and resulted in the death of Richard Hemby of Guntersville.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and the shooter is cooperating with authorities. No arrest has been made in connection to this case.
