Fall arrives this weekend, but summer heat is hanging on for the next few days. The dry weather also continues with rain chances not returning again until later next week.
Tonight brings clear skies and pleasant temperatures. Overnight lows will fall into the mid 60s.
We'll wrap up the week on a mostly sunny and hot note. Temperatures Friday afternoon will top out in the low 90s. We'll be warm but dry for high school football on Big Game Friday Night.
The hot and dry weather hangs around for the weekend. We'll see partly to mostly sunny conditions both Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures will hit the low 90s both days. The Autumnal Equinox happens at 7:43am Sunday, but it will be several days after before we see some cooler weather again.
Temperatures will stay in the low 90s the first couple of days next week along with the dry conditions. Shower chances are back starting midweek, but overall rain activity isn't looking very high impact at this time. Temperatures will also begin to pull back as a weak cold front passes through, dropping afternoon highs back into the 80s.
