Investigators have identified the person who died in a single-vehicle crash Friday on I-565, near Research Park Boulevard in Huntsville.
According to the Huntsville Police Department, five people were in the vehicle at the time of the wreck. One of them, now identified as 40-year-old Gerardo Santos Reynoso Deleon, died at the scene.
The other four were injured. Police said Friday one was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, and three others were reported to have serious but non-life-threatening injuries.Â
The incident happened just after 7 p.m.
Police say the wreck is still under investigation.
