A Hillsboro man has been identified as the lone victim of a fatal wreck Wednesday morning in Lawrence County.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said 57-year-old Roger D. Cartee was killed when the 2006 Chevrolet Silverado he was driving was struck by an 18-wheeler while attempting to cross the roadway.
The crash occurred on Alabama 20 at Lawrence County Road 400, about 1 mile east of Hillsboro, ALEA said.Â
Troopers continue to investigate the wreck.
