Sunshine and windy conditions persist Wednesday and Thursday. High temperatures each day will sit in the low 80s with gusty winds of 15-20 mph.
Very isolated rain is possible Friday morning and through lunchtime but the vast majority of North Alabama will remain completely dry. Even those who do see showers will only see very brief rain. Friday's high temperature will sit in the low 80s with a slight breeze but not gusty wind.
Saturday and Sunday bring lovely fall conditions with a mix of clouds and sun on Saturday with highs in the mid-80s. The record high temperature of Saturday is 86 and we are forecasting 85, but we very well might meet the record that day for high temperatures. More cloud cover moving in on Sunday will drop high temperatures to the low 80s with a breeze.
A cold front moves through on Monday morning bringing scattered showers to North Alabama through lunchtime. This powerful cold front will drop our high temperatures to the low 60s with overnight lows dropping to 40s.
Halloween Tuesday will have a high temperature in the mid-50s with overnight lows reaching down to the mid-30s. This means not only will all trick-or-treaters want an extra jacket over their costume but it also means that we will likely be waking up to frost on Wednesday morning.
