Whitesburg Christian Academy on Tuesday morning announced Jere Adcock as it's new head football coach.Â
Adcock takes over a Whitesburg Christian team that will move up to class 3A following a 2-8 season.
Adcock brings 27 years of coaching experience to Huntsville. in 27 years at Decatur high school Adcock compiled 187 wins and took the Red Raiders to the postseason 21 times, winning 7 region titles.Â
Adcock announced his retirement from coaching following the 2022 Decatur high school football season and took a year off before deciding he wanted to get back on the sidelines.Â
Adcock replaces Jimmy Nave who in three years compiled a 10-20 overall record.Â
