Lincoln Medical Center reopens after Tuesday morning search reveals ‘nothing suspicious’

The Fayetteville Police Department in Tennessee says Lincoln Medical Center personnel received a call about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday making reference to a “ticking clock.â€

Police say hospital security notified them, and they responded and secured the area.

Fayetteville Fire and Rescue, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Lincoln County EMA and paramedics staged nearby while a search was conducted of the property, police say.

Police confirm nothing suspicious was located.

The facility was reopened at about 7:15 a.m.

The investigation is ongoing.
