Stanford transfer quarterback has been named UNA's starter, head coach Brent Dearmon confirmed on Tuesday.
Patu, who spent three seasons with the Cardinal, made eight appearances with one start.
The California native has three touchdowns and one interception in 31 collegiate pass attempts.
Patu will be under center when the Lions get the 2024 season underway at the against SEMO on Aug. 24.
