Three individuals were arrested after a traffic stop on Interstate 65 in Priceville led to the discovery of drugs, fraud-related equipment, and fentanyl-laced items, according to the Priceville Police Department.
The stop occurred on Saturday near mile marker 330 after officers observed a vehicle swerving across lanes.
During the search, officers found fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and tools commonly associated with identity theft such as a card embosser, a card reader/writer, two laptop computers, multiple tablets, and multiple cell phones.
Jerry Price, 50, of Montgomery, Rajinder Marie McCoy, 33, of Columbus, Georgia, and Michael Sands, 31, of Detroit, Michigan, face multiple charges, including trafficking fentanyl.
Sands is also wanted in Michigan for fraud-related crimes.
All three suspects are being held in the Morgan County Jail with bonds ranging from $800,000 to $900,300. The investigation is ongoing, with additional charges possible.
